                                Household of Angels' Motto
“LORD help me to be concerned for those in Pain.”

From the Director:
“My husband and I are dedicated to providing the best possible care to our residents. I believe in being on-site and employing personnel devoted to elder care. As a Registered Nurse I made a career out of caring for others in need. As a mother and a grandmother I strive to foster a family atmosphere and a supportive community at Household of Angels. Each resident receives the personal attention, privacy and respect they desire in their golden years. My vision for Household of Angels is to provide more than just physical assistance or health care. Emotional and spiritual development are crucial to the total well being of our residents.”

My dad was a resident of Household of Angels for 4 years.  The love and care he got while he was there was outstanding.  The owners and staff went out of their way to see that all my Dad’s needs were met.  They treated my Dad, as well as all the residents, like members of their own families.  I feel I was blessed that I found Household of Angels when my Dad needed more care.  I want to thank all the wonderful people who made the last years of my Dad’s life as comfortable as possible.  God bless you all.

My mother came to be at Household of Angels due to several falls in her apartment.  When she came for a respite care, she seemed pleasantly surprised that the bedroom seemed bigger and the people seemed genuinely interested in her.  During her hospital visits she would tell the staff how she was better treated at the home where she had just been.  She was actually looking forward to going back to the "angel place." She arrived back at the Household of  Angels by ambulance because she had to be on oxygen.  The next day although she would flinch at noises, she could not be roused.  The staff dressed her and brought her out to be part of the group of residents.  This was the Sunday before Christmas.  A Santa hat was placed on her head and, when carolers came to sing, she was included.  This was full circle from the mother I remembered taking me to similar homes to sing Christmas songs.  I saw residents holding her hands, praying in the chapel for her, and a visiting minister saying a prayer for her.  Later, when she returned to her room we discussed "pronouncing" her as we did not think she would make it through the night.  The next day brought my mother back, she was sitting up and talking, and once able to be with residents.  Everyone's prayers had preformed a Christmas miracle for the Household of Angels
- Mrs. Nauss

Margaret, Roger and Household of Angels staff, thank you so much for taking care of my mother.  The compassion you show towards the residence is truly appreciated.  It's such a relief knowing she is well cared for, especially when I am 2000 miles away.

Thank you very much for your love and care that you are showing to the residents of the Household of Angels. You have brought joy and happiness which are very much needed by the elderly.  They are more receptive to conversation and more pleasant.  Your staff are also to be commended for their hard work.  With much blessings.
